In 1988, Elder Roland Irvin Neal was selected by the Late Bishop Lemmuel N. Moore, Sr. to pastor McCasland Temple C.O.G.I.C. in East St. Louis, Illinois. He and his wife, First Lady Brenda Neal, along with their four children joined in the mission to help advance the kingdom of God. |
Elder Neal functioned then as Bishop Moore's Parliamentarian and subsequent Chairman of the Jurisdiction, positions he yet holds under the current prelate, Bishop William Scott. Elder Neal has experienced great transition and growth during his tenure as Pastor.
As the pastor and visionary of the newly renamed New McCasland Temple Deliverance Center, Elder Neal believes in development of the whole person and obedience to God. Our church motto, "We are responsible for obeying, God is responsible for results" derives from Hebrews 5:8.
Locally, Pastor Neal serves the Illinois Southeast Jurisdiction (ISE) of the Church of God In Christ, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant to the Bishop, Chairman of the Jurisdictional Assembly, Secretary to the Executive Board of ISE, Assistant Superintendent of District #5 and Instructor for the ISE Education Department Laymen's class.
Pastor Neal is a visionary and an inspirational leader whom God has appointed and anointed to lead His people to a better today and a brighter tomorrow. He is dedicated to serving and fostering growth and deliverance to the whole man; mind, body and soul.

Our beloved First Lady Brenda Neal and Pastor have been married for 36 years. Lady Neal has faithfully upheld the standard of God as a wife, mother of four and First Lady of the NMTDC. She is commited to the music ministry and has served as Minister of Music, choir director, and is an accomplished pianist. Her beautiful smile and commitment to living holy inspires all who encounter her presence. Lady Neal is educated and anointed to work with children and is dedicated to teaching in her secular profession as an elementary school teacher and in our children's ministry. She faithfully serves on the Finance Department and Trustee Board as well. Lady Neal is also a member and musician for the Minister's Wives Council for the Illinois Southeast Jurisdiction (ISE) of the Church Of God In Christ, Inc. |  |
God has allowed the New McCasland Temple Deliverance Center to become a catalyst for change. We are thrusting forward in the calling of God. Chains of bondage are being broken and sinners are submitting to Christ. We are training our saints to mature in the knowledge of God and to seek out and bring in the harvest. Pray for us as we reach for the things which are before and "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus," as stated in God's Word, in Phillippians 3:13-14.
